Our field recording gear
Every Nature Sounds Therapy recording is made outdoors by a father and son with this kit. Sound goes through a Zoom F3 32-bit float recorder with a Sennheiser MKE 600 or a RØDE NT1 in our own wind protection; video is filmed on a Panasonic Lumix S5 or an Insta360 Pro for 360° VR. Power for all-night takes comes from an EcoFlow Delta 2 charged from our campervan. No music, no AI — just the place as it sounded.

…and a pile of cables, clamps, batteries and small things we only remember when they are missing.
The most important piece of kit
A smile and a conversation. Many of our best places are on someone's land — a farm, a meadow, a forest edge. We knock, explain what we do, and ask if we can stay for a few days. Most people say yes, and some of them end up listening to the recording later.
