Bird Sounds and Nonstop Crickets for Sleeping • Meadow by the Forest
📍 near Lubań🗓 summer, clear🎙 Lumix S5, Zoom F3, MKE 600, NT1⏱ 1 h 41 min✅ one take, no music, no AI
Bird sounds and crickets for sleeping, steady enough to fall asleep to, no sudden jumps. Nature sounds from a clear summer meadow by the forest, 1h 41min.
Clear sky. We slept in a tin garage, kept a campfire going, and left the gear running the whole time. An old fence is the only thing separating the meadow from the forest, and without it the forest would slowly start taking over the meadow. It was a beautiful few days. We'll come back in autumn and in winter, thanks to the kindness of the man who looks after this land.

Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording, made on site with the gear listed above. No music, no AI.
Q: Is this good for falling asleep? A: It's a good fit. The crickets carry a steady base under the birds, and the trees rustle now and then.

Field notes
Place: where a meadow meets the forest. An old fence separates the two — without it, the forest would slowly take over the meadow.
We stayed here for a few days in summer. A campfire in the evening, nights in a tin garage, and the gear recording the whole time without a break.
In the morning there is beautiful dew on this meadow. Who didn't run barefoot through a meadow as a kid? Snakes and other little creatures — nobody worried about them.
Mostly birdsong and crickets, with the trees in the background. The camera stood still, the microphones right next to it.
We'll be back in autumn and winter, thanks to the kindness of the owner of this land. Thank you for the long evening talks.
