Bird Sounds by a Still Lake at Dawn • Woodpeckers, Ducks, Nothing Else
Sleep timer — stops the video after:
✅ no music
Bird sounds by a still lake at dawn — woodpeckers tapping somewhere in the trees while ducks circle the still water, about as steady as bird sounds get. No music, no compilations. Just what was there.
Cold, but no fog. I got to the lake before sunrise, solo trip, early spring. Set up two mics off-frame and sat stationary through the morning as forest birds started calling. I can sit here for hours when there's sun. Nothing distracts me — a book, a mat, a sleeping bag, that's all I need. The woodpeckers didn't stop once.
Gear: Zoom F3, Rode NT1 — stereo, static 360 VR recording. Nothing added.
