Bird Sounds in a Mixed Forest, Poland • Early Morning
✅ no AI
Bird song recorded at dawn in a mixed forest in Poland — old pines, young beech saplings, summer morning. Insects, ambient forest hum, and a woodpecker in the background. No wind on the mic, no traffic, no people.
The old pines here are wide enough that the bark is starting to split and curl at the base. We'd never been to this forest before. To catch the early morning chorus, we had to stay somewhere nearby overnight — the birds that walk on the ground were especially interesting to watch once the light came up.
Dense bird song from first light, layered with insects and a steady background hum. A woodpecker taps in a few times, mid-distance. Clean and unfiltered, exactly the way we heard it.
Gear: iPhone + Rode NT1 + Zoom F3, mic positioned behind the camera.
