Forest Stream River Sounds for Sleeping • Black Screen • 12H
✅ no music, no AI
River Sounds for sleeping: black screen, 12 hours of a small mountain stream in a spruce forest. Press play, close your eyes — the picture stays dark from start to finish, no music, no talking.
This one comes from the Karkonosze mountains in Poland. During several days of living out in that wilderness I kept following the sound of water off-trail, and eventually found a narrow stream running through a bed of loose rocks deep inside a spruce stand. It was recorded in daylight, but the forest there is so dense and still that the water is almost all you hear — a steady, even rush with small bright details where it drops between stones.
The microphones sat low, close to the surface, so you get the body of the current rather than a thin trickle: a wide, soft wash of water with fine high edges that never turn sharp. Nothing sudden happens, nothing builds. It just runs, the same way it ran all afternoon while I sat on the moss next to it.

Screen off, let it run overnight.
Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording from the Karkonosze mountains in Poland, captured with a Zoom F3, Sennheiser MKE600 and Rode NT1 — no music, no AI.
Q: Can I sleep with this on all night? A: Yes — it runs 12 hours, so you can start it at bedtime and it will still be playing when you wake up. The volume stays even the whole way through, and the screen stays black so nothing lights up your room.
A real single-take outdoor field recording by Nature Sounds Therapy — a father-and-son duo. No music, no narration, no AI.
