Mountain River Sounds for Sleeping • Black Screen • 10H
📍 Kwisa, Poland🗓 daytime🎙 Zoom F3, MKE 600, NT1✅ no music, no AI
River sounds for sleeping — black screen, 10 hours. A mountain river rushing over boulders fills the whole night, the screen stays black, nothing to pull you back awake as you drift off.
This is the Kwisa, a mountain river in Poland, recorded in daylight from the bank. Boulders the size of houses rise straight out of the water, and I set up three separate microphones down among them to catch the river from every side — a Zoom F3 with a Sennheiser MKE600 and a Rode NT1. What you hear is water folding over and around stone: a steady, full-bodied wash of current, deeper where it pours past the big rocks, brighter where it splits into smaller channels. No music, no talking, no birds — just the river, holding the same even tone hour after hour.
It settles into a smooth band of sound very quickly, the kind of continuous water noise that covers a quiet bedroom and gives your ears one calm thing to rest on.
Real field recording — no music, no AI. Screen off, let it run overnight.
