Old Fence Meadow Bird Sounds & Crickets for Sleeping • Black Screen
🎙 Lumix S5, Zoom F3, MKE 600, NT1✅ no music, no AI
Need Bird Sounds for sleeping with a black screen? Summer birdsong and crickets from a meadow at the forest edge, with gentle cricket sounds for sleeping underneath and soft rustling trees to fall asleep to.
This was recorded in summer on a meadow that runs straight into a forest. Birds sing from the trees along the edge, crickets keep up a steady chirp in the grass, and every so often a breath of wind moves through the leaves. The video is a single static black frame for the whole file, so the sound is all there is.
One small thing about this spot: an old fence is the only thing separating the meadow from the forest. Without it, the forest would slowly start taking over the meadow. That boundary is where the microphones stood, so you hear both sides at once: open grass full of crickets on one side, and trees full of birdsong on the other.
I recorded it with a Panasonic Lumix S5, a Zoom F3, a Sennheiser MKE 600 and a Rode NT1. Nothing was added afterwards. If you enjoy trying to pick out different bird sounds to identify, there are plenty of voices here. If you would rather just rest, let the nature sounds blend together as you settle in.
Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording from a summer meadow at the forest edge, made with a Panasonic Lumix S5, Zoom F3, Sennheiser MKE 600 and Rode NT1 — no music, no AI.
Q: Is this good for falling asleep? A: Yes. It is about an hour of soft birdsong, crickets and rustling trees with no sudden changes, which suits winding down or a nap.
