Fireplace Ambience for sleeping with a black screen and 11 hours of sound: a wood fire crackling in the old hearth of a remote house, recorded on a summer night. Nothing to watch, just the fire to fall asleep to.

The recording was made inside an old house far from the nearest road. The fire is the only sound: dry logs popping, small sparks snapping, and a soft hiss as the wood settles into embers before fresh pieces catch again. Nothing else is in the recording. It is simply a hearth burning in a quiet room.

One small true detail from the session: the one tending the fire admitted he was too tired to keep watch for long. Three hours at most, he said, before he would follow the little explorer to bed. The fire kept crackling in the hearth without him.

The video is a single static black frame for the whole file. The picture never changes, so the sound of the fire is all there is.

Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording from an old remote house, made on a Zoom F3 with a Sennheiser MKE 600 — no music, no AI.

Q: Is this good for falling asleep? A: Yes. It runs for 11 hours of steady fire crackle with no voices and no sudden changes, so you can start it as you settle in and let it keep going.
