River sounds that stay at one level all night, plain water sounds with no edits and no volume changes. Ten hours of nature sounds for sleep, one river, one take.

Just the current. River noise front to back, nothing layered over it, nothing else close enough to the mic to register. This came out of a week camped along Bieszczady streams, some days small rivers, some days big ones, with the mic set directly into the current, in the flow itself and not on the bank. Summer, daytime, static shot, and I'm in the back cooking a late lunch — you just sit down and rest with me. There are bears in these Polish mountains — you have to keep that in mind when you camp here.

Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording from the Bieszczady mountains in Poland, made with a Zoom F3 and a Sennheiser MKE 600, one continuous take, no music, no AI.

Q: Can I sleep with this on all night? A: Yes. The level doesn't jump anywhere, so there's nothing to pull you awake at 3 a.m.

We record what we hear, nothing added, nothing taken away.
