Summer Forest Bird Sounds for Sleeping • Black Screen • 12H
🗓 summer🎙 Zoom F3, NT1⏱ 12 h✅ one take, no music, no AI
Bird sounds for sleeping — black screen, 12 hours of summer forest birdsong recorded from afternoon through to dawn. Nothing to watch, no music, just the woods running while you fall asleep.
The microphones were left alone in the forest for 12 hours straight. The crew set them up in the afternoon, drove away, and came back the next morning to a single uncut recording — the whole slow turn of a summer day into night and back into first light.
What you hear is birds, mostly: layered singing in the warm afternoon, thinning out as the light goes, then building again before sunrise. Between them there is the small movement of animals in the undergrowth, an airplane passing high over the trees now and then, dogs barking somewhere in a village down the valley, and near the end of the file a rooster crowing at dawn. Nobody was there to move a mic or stop the take, so it all stays in — the quiet stretches too.
Recorded with a Zoom F3 and two Rode NT1 microphones. Real field recording, no music, no AI.
One continuous recording — no music, no loops, no AI. Screen off, let it run overnight.
Q: Is this real or AI-generated? A: Real field recording from a summer forest, captured on a Zoom F3 with two Rode NT1 microphones — one continuous all-night take, no music, no AI.
Q: Can I sleep with this on all night? A: Yes — it runs a full 12 hours in one unbroken piece, so it will cover a whole night without looping or cutting out. The screen stays black from the first second to the last.
